The League of Extraordinary Men is a comic book written by Alan Moore, with drawings by Kevin O'neill. The comic book consists of six different story lines which all make up volume one of the series. The book itself is an intertextuality and an appropriation with allusions, which all come together to make a great enjoyable comic book that lets its readers allude to other great works and grasp a better understanding of the novel.
